1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using FundForge, you agree to these Terms of Service. You must be at least 16 years of age to use this platform. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use FundForge.

2. Service Description

FundForge is a grant, scholarship, and fellowship discovery platform with AI-powered application assistance. AI features operate on a pay-per-use basis through a prepaid wallet system. FundForge helps you find and apply for funding opportunities but does not guarantee any funding outcomes, award decisions, or application success.

3. User Accounts

  • Each organization may maintain one account on the platform.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate and current information in your account and organization profile.
  • Organizations claiming 501(c)(3) nonprofit status must provide a valid EIN for verification. Submitting a fraudulent EIN is grounds for immediate account termination.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. AI Features and Wallet

  • AI features are pay-per-use. You must deposit funds into your prepaid wallet before using AI features.
  • Wallet deposits are non-refundable except at our sole discretion.
  • AI feature pricing may change with reasonable notice. Current pricing is displayed on the platform.
  • AI-generated content is provided as a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI outputs before submission to any funding body.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from FundForge without written permission.
  • Abuse, overload, or interfere with the platform or its infrastructure.
  • Submit fraudulent EIN numbers or misrepresent your organization type for verification benefits.
  • Create accounts if you are under 16 years of age.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

6. Intellectual Property

The FundForge platform, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by OpenSourcePatents LLC. All rights reserved. Your application drafts, organization data, and uploaded documents remain your property. We claim no ownership over content you create or upload to the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

FundForge is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any funding outcomes, grant decisions, or application results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenSourcePatents LLC's total liability for any claims arising from your use of FundForge is limited to the amounts you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms of Service, fraudulent activity, or abuse of the platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting support at opensourcepatents@gmail.com. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases. Any remaining wallet balance at the time of termination for cause is forfeited.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of New Hampshire.
